Basic Soldering Supplies
Note: You can get most all of these supplies through Robin (yes that's her name, not me), on Amazon, or at your local stained glass shop.
- SOLDERING IRON & STAND ~ (*please note that I use a different tip cleaner & stand in the video. This stand and sponge works just as well but the sponge needs to be soaked with water in order to clean your tip properly. Do not try to clean your tip on a dry or even semi dry sponge). - FLUX - I prefer Classic 100 gel flux, but any flux will work. (Amazon Link)
- SOLDER ~ Any lead free solder she has listed is fine. (Amazon Link)
- TINNED COPPER WIRE: 20g (Amazon Link)
- NOVACAN BLACK PATINA: 8oz (Amazon Link)
- Hemostat.
Other things you'll need that can be picked up at a drug store or hardware store: rubbing alcohol, clothes pin, 6x6 ceramic tile, small flux brush or child's paint brush.

- Apoxie Sculpt clay by Aves or FixIT Sculpt (either is fine)
- Disposable rubber gloves

Shabby Crown
- 18 inches of metal banding for an adult size head
- acrylic paint & paint brush: burnt umber or similar dark brown, white acrylic paint or egg shell white house paint, gesso (optional)

- vintage and new flower brooches or broken jewelry
- sand paper
- E-6000 adhesive
- Clothespins
- Novacan to patina the crown
